The most interesting points

in the Colombian Amazon

to know at the destination

Among the tourist services offered in the Colombian Amazon by our partners are fishing trips, overnight stays in the jungle or in an indigenous maloca sharing daily life with the natives and learning about their ancient customs. Climbing or zip-lining in trees over 30 meters high, kayaking through the flooded forest or on the lakes, among others.

Nature reserve

Monkey Island

Created in the 1970s as a tourist attraction by an American of Greek descent, Maik Tsalickis, it operated there until the mid-1980s. Today, it’s a nature reserve for the Saimiri (titis) monkeys, where visitors have the opportunity to see hundreds of them in their natural habitat and feed them with their own hands. Watching these monkeys jump in all directions is a source of euphoria. Other activities include jungle hikes, sport fishing, and native kayaking (canoes), always accompanied by an agency guide and an expert.

We arrive at the municipality of Islandia, Perú, located on the right bank of the Yavari River. This is a very peculiar place, with all its houses built three to four meters high, and its streets are narrow platforms where people walk. We then arrive at the municipality of Benjamín Constan (Brazil), where we will visit one of the most complete museums of the Ticuna ethnic group and finally enjoy a typical Brazilian lunch in a quiet and pleasant place.
